You can tell how good a mexican american place is by the bean and cheese burrito. This place is awesome. And yes, they use lard. In everything. This place is awsome!

    EDIT: 9/19.

I almost always get the same thing, but this time i called and asked about the enchiladas, specifically the chicken ones; smartass who answered the phone told me " some like it, some don't"

    Well, trust me: it's excellent!!!!

Rip Off . I got the chicken enchiladas plate.. came out to 13$ 14$, no chips included.

Trash . It tasted like crap. I didn't get through half of it. The rice was good but only 2 small scoops. The chicken looked like good white meat but the enchilada sauce tasted like refried beans. I was very disappointed. I think people rate this place high because they want to like it. It's an older gentlemen who runs it so maybe people feel bad writing bad reviews. The 1 star is for the vintage TV channel they were playing inside.

I really like their potatoes tacos and had been buying them since they first started as a stand by Magnolia and Ball Rd I believe (I forgot)  however, I rarely went throughout these past years  just because of the atmosphere and the guy who takes the orders is ALWAYS rude. He always seems like he's always in a bad mood and has NO customer service skills. I gave them a last chance last week to see if anything has changed, nope. Things are not like they used too, never  going there again.

I stopped to have lunch at Little Caboose Taco Shop 2225 West Ball Road in Anaheim.
I found out about the place from a friend of mine.

I got there about 30 minutes before 8am the opening time that is shown online.
Since I love fish tacos, I wanted to eat a fish taco combo with refried beans and Spanish rice.
I took some photos from the outside and noticed there was no opening or closing time posted.

Then I tried to see if the door was open about 8:10 am and it was locked.
Note: I hope businesses would post their business hours.
I left with a sad face and an empty stomach.
Then I drove off to find my next review.

Finally I got to try this place.

Walked in and it's a cute little taco shop with room for maybe 20 people inside to be seated. This place as many know, is a CASH ONLY location. With a ATM machine inside if quick cash is needed... or there is a BofA approx ~ 100 yards away and chase bank about a 2 mins drive away on brookhurst north of ball!! In case you don't want those extra fees ;)

I was greeted by the man who seemed to be the owner. He was very very nice and I told him I was craving nachos, he told me they have Asada and carnitas. But I told him I don't eat pork. So he said the asada was the way to go!

Took them to go and to be honest, they were pretty good. Nothing crazy different that stood out. I just wish the meat and chips distribution would of been made better. I didn't get much meat and it was diced very very small, so it was just ok for what I paid! But the cheese was really good and loaded on there! Thought I wish there was more chips placed on there to shovel the real good gooey cheese.

Over all, I don't hate the place... wouldn't be my first choice to go to nor my last.. I've just been to other places who charge around the same for bigger and better portioned carne Asada nacho supreme ! And I knocked it another star because they only have canned sodas ... I wish they had more to offer like agua frescas or something other than soda cans and bottled waters.

Next time I'll try it again and snap a pic... and I will try something else and hopefully up my post!

    Until then, happy yelping peeps
